Fully TuFF Terms of Service
Effective date: July 18, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
By downloading or using Fully TuFF (the "app," "Service," "we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
These terms apply to the Fully TuFF app, the website at fullytuff.com, and everyone who uses either.
2. What Fully TuFF is
Fully TuFF is a workout logging and training app. It lets you record workouts in plain language, tracks your training history and progress, and includes an AI Coach that gives training suggestions based on your logged data and, if you allow it, data from Apple Health.
Fully TuFF is a fitness and training tool. It is not a medical device, a medical records system, an emergency service, or a substitute for professional medical, physical therapy, or nutrition advice. Don't enter medical records, government identifiers, payment card numbers, passwords, or anything else not needed to track your training.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time.
3. Beta software
Fully TuFF is currently in beta testing, distributed through Apple's TestFlight. Beta software is a work in progress, and by using it you understand that:
- It may contain bugs, behave unexpectedly, or become temporarily unavailable.
- Features may change, be added, or be removed between builds without notice.
- Your data may not be preserved. A beta build can lose or reset workout history, notes, photos, or settings. Don't rely on Fully TuFF as the only record of anything important to you during the beta.
- We may contact you about your testing, and you can leave the beta at any time by removing the app.
Your use of TestFlight is also governed by Apple's TestFlight terms. When Fully TuFF is released publicly, these Terms continue to apply and the beta-specific points above no longer do.
4. Your account
Some features, like Cloud Backup, require an account. If you create one, you agree to give accurate information, keep your login secure, take responsibility for what happens under your account, and tell us if it's used without your permission.
You must be at least 13 to use Fully TuFF. We can refuse service or close accounts at our discretion.
You can delete your account and its data at any time from within the app, in Settings.
5. Health, fitness, and AI: read this one
Exercise carries risk of injury. You're responsible for training safely and within your own limits.
Talk to a doctor before starting a new training program, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, or haven't trained in a while.
The AI Coach generates suggestions from your data. It is not a doctor, physical therapist, dietitian, or certified trainer, and its suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for you. Treat them as a starting point, not instructions.
Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, or anything wrong during exercise. Don't push through it because an app told you to.
Any nutrition information the Coach provides is general and observational. It does not prescribe calorie targets or macros, and it is not clinical nutrition advice. See a registered dietitian for that.
You are responsible for checking anything the Coach suggests before acting on it.
We make no warranty that any recommendation, plan, or estimate in the app is accurate, complete, or appropriate for you. You use the app's training and AI features at your own risk.
6. AI features and your data
When you use the AI Coach, plan generation, cloud workout parsing, or equipment photo recognition, the app sends the information needed for that feature to our AI provider (currently Anthropic) to generate a response. We use Anthropic's API under its commercial terms, which mean your data is not used to train Anthropic's models. What's sent, and your control over it, is described in our Privacy Policy.
AI outputs can be wrong. Review them before relying on them, especially anything touching injuries, medical conditions, or nutrition. Don't put medical records, government identifiers, passwords, or other sensitive information you don't need to track your training into coach messages, notes, or photos, since that content is sent to our AI provider.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into Fully TuFF: your workouts, notes, and any photos you submit.
You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content only to operate the app for you (including syncing it to your own iCloud and, if you enable it, backing it up). This license exists so the app can function; we don't use your training data to advertise, and we don't sell it.
You're responsible for having the right to submit anything you upload, including photos you take for workout or equipment recognition, which may be sent to our AI provider for analysis.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use Fully TuFF to break the law, gain unauthorized access to the Service, interfere with other users, introduce malicious code, scrape or automate access, or get around rate limits, authentication, or security controls. Don't use credentials or backups for an account you don't control.
9. Subscriptions and payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. If you subscribe:
- Payment is charged through your Apple App Store account.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings; we can't cancel it for you.
- Free trials convert to paid automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy.
- We may change prices with notice.
10. Intellectual property
Fully TuFF, including its name, design, code, the Coach's voice and character, and its features, belongs to us and is protected by law. Don't copy, reverse engineer, extract source, or use our name, brand, or the coaching character without written permission. This doesn't affect your ownership of your own content under §7.
11. Third-party services
Fully TuFF relies on services we don't control, including Apple (iCloud, HealthKit, App Store), our AI provider, and our hosting and email providers. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms. We're not responsible for third-party services, but we choose them carefully and describe them in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION. We don't warrant the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FULLY TUFF WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL; FOR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP'S TRAINING OR AI FEATURES EXCEPT WHERE CAUSED BY OUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT; OR FOR AMOUNTS EXCEEDING WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to hold Fully TuFF harmless from claims arising out of your use of the app, your violation of these terms, your violation of anyone's rights, or your content.
15. Termination
We may suspend or close your account for breaking these terms or for conduct that harms other users or the Service. You can delete your account any time in Settings. On termination, your right to use the app ends; your on-device data remains yours and under your control.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here, update the effective date, and, for material changes, give notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
